Re: Hill start control

I’ve tried the rapid deliberate pull but no joy

Also changed it to manual and it doesn’t work

It has the Option 719 levers but I can’t imagine they’d make a difference

Hill start control

Hi all I’m still getting used to my new (to me) 2022 RT. One of the things I can’t seem to get to work properly is the hill start control. My bike has the Pro version (which I think means it applies automatically on an incline) and that function seems to work fine. However, I’ve followed the instruc...

Comfort seat

BMW comfort seat from my 2011 1200RT.

Lovely bit of kit, like a saddle. Heated separately front and rear.

There’s a few minor marks from where I fitted a tail pack, and I repaired a crack in the passenger switch. It all works perfectly.

Re: 2024 North Yorkshire (England) Meet

Wednesday would depend how work goes. I live pretty much in the centre of the route map so could be flexible if work pans out.

Re: Hello from York UK

After 7 thousand miles in a year on my 2011 RT I’ve decided to get rid and replace it with; another RT.

I’ll include a photo if I can work out how to..

Re: August Meet

Sorry I missed this topic. If you do decide to go there one day, I would definitely recommend the Great Central Railway. However, the station at Quorn (not Loughborough) would probably a better location. Unless there’s an event on, they used to let bikes park in the service yard where you always hav...

Cruise control switch problem

Hello all After working fine previously, the cruise control switch on my 2011 RT has developed an intermittent fault. Essentially; sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. There's no real pattern to it, like the weather etc. I've sprayed the gaps at the edge of the button several times with electr...

Harz mountains Germany plus Assen

Hello all

I’m planning a tour of the Harz mountains in late June, coming back via Assen to take in the MotoGP.

Has anybody been to those areas and have any tips on routes, places to stay and visit etc?

Will be travelling there and back on the Hull/Rotterdam ferry.

Many thanks
