Hi guys, I’ve recently joined this forum now that I’ve purchased my RT.
I’d love to come on these trips but don’t think I’ll make any this year as I’ve too much on already booked ( not necessarily bike related though).
I’ll certainly be interested in joining you on future occasions.
Happy riding.

Re: Anyone bought a bike without a test ride
Yip covered my arse and bought my RT 2021 model from a dealer.
I bought it without a test ride as I’d spent months looking at reviews and knew I’d love it. And I do.

Re: Apple EarPods link to TFT.
I’ve tried to connect the pods to the bike but it doesn’t recognise them.
It’s only a temporary fix until I get helmet coms.
I hold the pods in my ear by using a silk balaclava under my lid.
Thanks for the replies guys.

Apple EarPods link to TFT.
Just bought my 2021 RT but I haven’t got a helmet with Bluetooth connection as yet. I thought I could just use my Apple EarPods linked to my phone which in turn would be linked to the TFT but that doesn’t seem to work. Anyone any thoughts on this ? I was thinking of buying a Cardo Bluetooth can anyo...

Re: Adaptive cruise control
Thanks for all 5he comments folks.
I bought a 21 model yesterday and drove it 350 miles home on motorways.
Used the cruise control at times but don’t think I’ll miss not having ACC on her.
Ps what a machine.

Adaptive cruise control
Do you think adaptive cruise control is worth the extra on the 2021 model?
Does it work particularly well on a bike ?
Any info greatly appreciated.

Re: Hello from Lytham St Annes UK
Hi Rick, I live just along the road from you in Garstang. I’m about to purchase my first tourer in a 21 plate RT 1250 LE. I’ll be picking it up from the south of England at the end of the month. I’ve been looking at them for weeks trying to find the best buy and hopefully I’ve found it. Hope you’re ...

Re: Software version
I’m looking forward to any replies on this topic as I’m about to pick up a 2021 RT LE but I hear there was an update in 2022 and I’d like the MOTORRAD dealer I’m buying from to update it.

Re: Hi from GB
The zx9r is a crap bike  , I've only had a C2, E2 and 2 x F2P. Still got my Red F2P  Welcome to the forum, i'm new on here to. I’ve been riding for about 25 years, started out on a Honda 125 until I passed my test then onto a ZZR 600 followed by the ZX9 C2 and E1 which I currently have.

Hi Jeffem
Thanks for the advice, I’m particularly looking forward to the quick shifter.
Oh and of course the rider comfort.

Re: Navigation app
Do you think buying a newer model with the TFP screen is worthwhile or should I save a lot of money buying an older model with the dials and simply add a sat nav ?

Re: Anyone bought a bike without a test ride
That’s a thought right enough.
Think I’ll look at some dealers to see if it’s worth paying a premium for the after sale safeguards. Cheers.

Hi from GB
I currently have a Kawasaki ZX9 but will be purchasing an RT in the coming weeks.
Hopefully get to see some thoughts on the bike here and hopefully some guidance on which to buy.
Looking forward to our chats.
Cheers.
