Re: R1250RT rider seat tilted forward
Thank you Stu. I spent some hours on my seat setup and can say, I am not considering purchasing expensive aftermarket seats any more. At least for now. If over time I encounter any issues, I will report them here. But for now, the seat feels flat. I can comfortably utilize the middle and rear portio...

Re: R1250RT rider seat tilted forward

Re: R1250RT rider seat tilted forward
Hello Capt Sisko. The trick is in orientation of rubber bumpers on the height adjustment bracket installed in upper position, and locking the latch at the rear end of the seat in lower position. This way the rubber bumpers are staying in place without glue. I took some pictures for clarification. 1....

R1250RT rider seat tilted forward
I you find the stock R1250RT seat being tilted forward rather uncomfortable, it is possible to install the seat while the height adjustment bracket is in upper position, but the rear of the seat is locked in lower position. 1. Install the height adjustment bracket in upper position. 2. Replace two r...

Re: R1250RT rear end alignement
Thank you everyone for the input. We are getting deeper in to the topic, which is: Why is the whole rear end is off to the right? Perhaps the following lines of thought could direct us to the answer: First Line of Thought. 1. Is there procedure in BMW Shop service manual regarding front to rear whee...

Re: R1250RT rear end alignement
I appreciate replies reconfirming my statement in the opening posting. I also understand that it appears to have something to do with design.
However, I would still like to find out:
Why is the whole rear end is off to the right?

R1250RT rear end alignement
Greetings! I recently bought a 2023 R1250RT. By now I clocked little over 1000 miles in city traffic. Could not be happier!!! As the times spent together accumulates, some questions about design and functionality emerge and so far answered with the help of Internet searches. All, but one! Question: ...
