Re: Hex EzCan Install
I have just fitted one to my 2019 R1250RT. I connected it to the RDC without having to remove the top box or anything. If its the same as mine, remove the pillion seat. The RDC is on the bikes right side (or your left as you look at it) There is a push clip release each side of the plug and it then...

Re: Hex EzCan Install
I’m planning to install a Hex EzCan on my 2023 1250RT (which has RDC and DWA), and was wondering whether I have to remove the top case and rear rack (and/or the silver plastic cover that sits on top of the rear rack) in order to access the connectors that the EzCan plugs into? Also, I saw a video on...

Re: Location of Can-Bus Plug
If that's what you ware going to do then use the accessory plug to operate a relay to turn on the fuze block rather than splicing in to wiring That way it will shut off after 30 seconds too Thanks. I may not have been clear, but yes that’s what I intend to do. I will tap into the yellow pigtail in ...

Re: Location of Can-Bus Plug
I piggyback the switched feed from the accessory socket ( front or rear) to a relay and a fused power feed direct from the accessible positive battery terminal. Thanks exportman. If (when) I have any other accessories to add, I plan to tap into this pigtail for switched power, and then add some sor...

Re: Location of Can-Bus Plug
Hi, Done exactly the same thing on a 2021 RT. Looking down in front of the tank on left hand side (as when sat on bike) just under the bottom of the cubby hole, you will see some wiring all clipped in. Amongst that you should also see a blanked off connector (black), cabled tied to the loom. Carefu...

Location of Can-Bus Plug
Hi. I have a 2023 1250 RT, and want to power an accessory (i.e., a usb charger that I’ll keep in my tank bag) by connecting it to the Can-Bus system, so that the power to the accessory turns off when the bike is off. I bought this pigtail (see photo), but am not sure where the Can-Bus connector is l...

Re: Adaptive cruise control
I like the Adaptive Cruise and think it works well at recognizing cars/trucks, and then smoothly adjusting your speed accordingly. Note that I said “cars/trucks”. The adaptive cruise does not do a good job at recognizing other motorcycles when riding in the traditional staggered formation. So if lef...

Dimensions of passenger seat
Hi. I’m wondering if someone could do me a quick favor. I live in Milwaukee, but store my 2023 1250 RT on the west coast, so that I can fly in and ride during the winter. On my next road trip, I’d like to strap a 30 liter Kriega bag to my passenger seat. Since my bike is currently several thousand m...

Hello from Milwaukee
Hi. I just added a 2023 1250RT to the stable. I live in Milwaukee where the riding season is way too short, so I purchased the RT to keep on the West Coast, so that during the winter my wife and I can fly into a warmer destination and ride. We just finished our first trip on the RT and love it. My w...
