My VIN shows I have a second battery on my 2017 R1200RT. The bike is new to me... I don't see a second battery or signs where it would be anywhere, where do they keep it?

The Haynes manual seems to stop at 2016. Is that close enough? I just purchase my first BMW (an Authorities USA bike). When they pulled the police lights from it, they just used side cutters.
