Thank you very much for the route options. I am inclined to stay with main routes as my geography is on the wrong side of rubbish and far too dependant on Google Maps these days.....getting older is no fun

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025

Hi Lochiesdad. As a rule we meet at a central hotel so that everyone can socialise on the Friday evening and then a meal at the hotel or somewhere walking distance. The hotel is the departure point for the Saturday ride out. On the Saturday night we normally have a couple of drinks in the bar and t...

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025

I believe that's where most folk are staying, with the next biggest continent a stone's throw away at Fourways. Very close by is a Wetherspoons and other watering holes. The Golden Fleece and Fourways seem perfectly situated amongst this bustling metropolis! Thank you for the clarification. I have ...

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025

Hi Mike, Just a heads up that the Old Oak is a bit of a schlep from the Fleece. I'd looked at staying there too because it does look nice but it's a 30min walk out of town. Maybe that's nothing to a Scotsman but just thought I'd let you know :-D Hi Orca Excuse my ignorance but what's the significan...

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025

Alnwick is 1 hr 20 min (fastest time) away from home, wouldn't need an overnight stay but has the potential for a meet up on Friday 30th to ride back to South Kilvington (Thirsk). Once known, if you would like to share your route for Friday, it would help Markus & I decide what to do. It's some...

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025

Hi Mike, Markus & I are currently looking at heading south from Teesside to Chesterfield on Thursday 29th and riding back to Thirsk on Friday. If you do decide to stop over somewhere, please keep me posted. Depending on your route and the weather, could easily change our plans and head north to...

Re: UK Annual Meet 2025

I'll be riding down from north of Aberdeen if anyone is going from north of the border (or north of Thirsk) and fancies meeting up en route? Not decided route south yet but may opt to travel down on Thursday 29th and stop over somewhere suitable.

I bought the Motorcycle / Scooter Mirror mount bracket. It has various inserts to utilise to suit whichever diameter (within reason) the mirror / bar is you're trying to fit it to.

Re: Quadlock

I recently fitted a Quadlock to my 2013 RT using the Motorcycle / Scooter Mirror mount with absolutely no problems at all. The Quadlock mount comes with a number of inserts for various diameters of mirror stems / bars which worked perfectly on the mount / bar I have for the Navigator V. I use a DIN ...

Re: BMW 1200rt phone mount

I recently traded up to a 2013 R1200RT which came with the Navigator V system. Despite several attempts and contacting Garmin I was unable to get the maps updated from 2012 version. I contacted BMW to seek a bracket / phone holder but nothing available. I finally removed the Navigator holder (secure...
