Re: What did you do today?

It was biblical my way for parts of yesterday. Glad I didn’t bike to work. Last night there were lakes on local roads.

Re: What did you do today?

Visited the grandkids, had a cuppa, mowed the grass, had a cuppa, swept out the garage , had a cuppa and went to do the weekly shop. Washed the windows and had a cuppa. Then pigged out on a homemade fish curry and had a cuppa. Now thinking about a shower then bed. I may have another cuppa. Some peop...

Re: Bike turner

That's similar to what I use https://i.postimg.cc/hG7MFWFg/20210331-174953.jpg That was a mighty bike  Takes the weight of the RT no problem. If you go down that route, make sure the floor is fairly smooth :thumb: This is the conundrum, I can’t remember the garage floor! And I need it the day I ...

That's neat, will search as out of stock on his link.

Found this type last night: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0D ... ct_title_2 - which might allow a little shunting too.

Re: Bike turner

I definitely have no intention of turning it on the incline! Just to turn it in the garage really.

Could look at rear wheel lifting. Have a wheeled paddock stand still…. Shall have a look at a centre stand turner though, thanks.

Bike turner

Moving house soon, and will have a garage down the side of the house which is an incline and also only the width of the garage. Any suggestions and recommendations for turners? Seen you can get centre stand ones, and also the type which you ride the bike on to and then you can wheel it round the gar...

Re: Nav VI not happy

Well, Still can't get it to talk to even a Mac with native USB A. Wonder if I need to actual proper cable. My Sena was fussy about the right cable. So I look on Garmin - 5-8 week lead

Re: My RTC

Bloody hell, that’s not how roundabouts work! Six months is a long time to settle where he’s clearly left it late to go round from the wrong lane.

Main thing, you’re still here.

Re: Nav VI not happy

My Nav V updates without any problems on my macbook. Use the orginal garmin lead with a geniune apple usb to usb c adaptor. So a data USB C to micro doesn't work. First blurb I read said son't use a hub, then on further reading, it says on Apple Silicon you may need to use a USB 2.0 hub. I do have ...

Re: R 1200 RT Engine cut of at stop and will not restart (starter does not turn)

This was an issue on some Triumph triples. The headstock wiring was too short, and also didn’t move freely enough in the clip/guide which kept the loom together causing chafing in some cases and breaks in others. Be worth getting the bike to a point where you can see that loom as you turn the bars.

Works on mine on the flat.
