Hi Gary,
Your R,B,Y wiring assumptions are correct.
When I fitted my K3 I took the yellow to the +ve supply of the DIN socket by the rear seat.

Hi everyone.
I have just discovered this group after being on a couple of FB sites.
I've owned my Ebony Black 2015 K52 for 4 years and enjoy every moment I'm out on it.
Other bike is a ZZR1400 which I can't bring myself to sell but hardly ride
