Hi,
Found this forum after just over 12 months of RT ownership, a 2011 model. OK so I'm not the quickest off the blocks :-)
So as much as anything, a post to say Hi. This is my first RT, in fact my first BMW. You find me a few days back from a two up 18 day trip around the Picos, Pyrenees and The French Alps. This trip has solidified my view that this is the bike for my needs. Loved it.

The only complaint, from her on the back, she can't see over my head which interferes with her photo ops, but it didn't stop her as you can see :-)
Again hi all :-)
It's for me

Hi Meanderlight nice to have you onboard. The same as you my first BMW always wanted one but loved my Triumphs. I came over from Triumph not because of dissatisfaction just at 64yrs had an itch that needed scratching, if you know what I mean. I am over the moon with my bike it's absolutely brilliant. The weather here in the Cherente yesterday was low 40s so maybe you've finished your little trip just right to catch the good ol British weather which is quite nice at the mo. Enjoy the bike.
Re: It's for me
Welcome to the forum Meanderlight. You'll find there are quite a few of us on here who've only just come over to BMW and the RT. Mind you, there are others who've been riding them since I was on an FS1-E!
