Clutch fluid

Set off today for lake district clutch fluid nice n golden, half way round lakes noticed fluid had gone nearly black!! any ideas whats up

New one on me. No other symptoms or impacts?

You never know, when the bike sits for a while things could settle and the gold will return.

Hydraulic fluid will go black with heat. My Multistrada back brake fluid would turn from clean gold colour to black very quickly due to heat transfer from the exhaust to reservoir.  HOWEVER the clutch fluid in the RT LC is a mineral fluid NOT brake fluid. The fluid is meant to be good for the lifetime of the bike.
