Well, here is my 2012 R1200rt that i just picked up with 33k miles on it.
Its in almost new shape and I paid several $K less then NADA for it from a local power-sports dealer that took it in on trade and used it himself for a few months before his partner told him to either buy it or sell it!
His loss my gain! Here are a few low res picks. I just wanted to join in and say hello and cant wait for this winter to pass so I can really take it out for some extended riding. (I live in Michigan).
It came with rocker protectors and highway pegs.

The day my ship comes in, I'll probably be at the airport.

Hi Moonie and welcome always nice to know that one of us has got a bargain, great news. The bike handles well in the wet depending on tires and rider ability, but thinking about it and Michigan weather, keep it nice and dry in a warm room and just look and admire it and the Spring will soon come

Why wait? Isn't the idea of the RT that it can be used year-round?
Mind you, your winters might be more challenging that ours!

Challenging? Do they make snow tires for it? richardbd wrote:

Unfortunately i live in a mobile home, but as you can see from both pictures i now own a carport with a west wall. I plan on moving it over to the wall and keeping it covered with the BMW Motorrad winter cover.

Seeing all the heater leads brought back cold memories of military training outside Medicine Hat, Alberta. I did two stints out there both during Oct - Dec and then they decided it was too cold to train after they put me through hell, still I have fond memories. But I don't think you will be riding your bike during winter.
