Crash Bars and Hwy Pegs
Crash Bars and Hwy Pegs
I just bought my first 2012 R1200RT love it but I have a bum knee. I think hwy pegs would give me a break on those long rides. Anybody out there have an opinion? Crash bars sound smart, and it would give me a great place to mount the pegs. BMW crash bars, or an aftermarket. Let me know your thoughts. C

Hi CharlieRT you maybe new to the forum the best place to look for suggestions on Highway Pegs would be in the Accessories Section. Having said that you may find somebody may have posted something here, good luck.

I don't do Crash Bars & Highway Pegs myself, but "Google" has come up with these from Ilium Works,
http://www.iliumworks.com/BMW_Motorcycl ... 600&pID=51, they look "pretty neat".
Are you looking for both Crash Bars & Highway Pegs or just Pegs.
Not sure if BMW do anything other than Engine roll bars for authority vehicles,
