Hi, I've just received my 59 plate ex-police bike and it still has a couple of things on it that I'd like to remove. There are brackets for lights on the nose of the bike behind the indicator lenses and switch gear on the left hand grip.
Would someone please be kind enough to let me know how to remove these items from my bike.
Many thanks in advance
Jethro.

Are the Brackets fitted the same way as these Wunderlich Wind Deflectors, if so, the Mirrors need to be removed to expose the mounting points.Jethro66 wrote:There are brackets for lights on the nose of the bike behind the indicator lenses.

There are some photos in this link, http://www.bmrider.com/images/reports/R ... rt%203.pdf showing the Mirrors removed,
they are a push fit on three pegs on the back of the fairing headlight panel.

The photo isn't particularly clear, are the brackets attached to the switchgear itself.Jethro66 wrote:There are brackets for lights on the switch gear on the left hand grip.

If so, the switch may need to be split & removed to expose the mounting points.
This Video shows the switch split for indicator repair, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rkrj6Kodo8c, may be helpful.

If you are getting rid of the switchgear I would be interested to put back on my RT-P. Drop me a PM. Ta Rob.
