2016 RT 1200
2016 RT 1200
What do guys think of the black finish on the 2016 RT chassis and drive train ? Don`t care for it myself.
Re: 2016 RT 1200
Only good thing is, it will disguise the presence of all the `Kamikaze' bugs stuck on the frame.... :enjoying:

Just ordered a triple black with matching topbox and a high level brakelight, needless to say I think it looks cool!

I'm confused.com, is the "TripleBlack" an RT or GS.

It would seem there is or is about to be a Triple Black RT. can't find an image though. Guess it's just black all over. Make a change from all those blue ones.

I don't think it is officially called the Triple Black, the salesman gave some thought and decided it would look good so ordered another two. Took my GTLE down today and said goodbye, in dynamic mode it's a great bike to ride if not to own.

Ebony Metallic is deceptive in certain lighting conditions, the Chassis & Drive Train aren't Black.

Re: 2016 RT 1200
As far as I know, the black engined ones are still in build. Went for a spin on an RT yesterday, loved it's very nimble feel but I felt very much on top of it rather than sitting in it as on my 1600. Gear shift is great particularly when going quickly and in the upper gears. Screen felt a bit small, not the bubble of calm of my previous bike.

I'm intrigued, my curiosity is getting the better of me, haven't seen an RT LC with a Black Engine.
Please can someone enlighten me, thanks.

Neither is the bike - it's definitely brown!

Not Black, not Brown - it's Dark Aubergine.
