heated Seat? does it get warm

Hi all re and other BMW readers, has any one got or had a problem with the heated riders seat
I've not sensed a warm bum as yet,  even with the setting on the highest  Any one else got the same problem

I would first check to make sure seat is plugged in
It happened on my 1600 after dealer service, seat was unplugged

My heated seat is almost impossible to sit on, on max heating level...it gets so hot i'm worried my trousers will catch fire if i fart.  :eek:
