ESA Failure

Post by Richmac »

Hello,
I was wondering how many have had an ESA fail on new (2015/2016) bikes, at any mileage?  Mine failed at 560 miles just before first service.

Thanks.

I know of none.  Have you got yours back yet.
Mind you worse things happen at sea.  My local dealer has a K1600 Exclusive delivered on the back of a truck today which was 1 day old.
When I left they were still trying to get it to fire up.  Nasty stuff that diesel.

.......and so what did the dealer have to say once they had replaced the knackered ESA on your bike, ie what actually failed on the ESA......??
