Although the Season may not be coming to an end for some, my bike will probably be getting SORN'ed at the end of October for 5 months, until April 2016.
So, where did I get to in 2015.
May - 4 Day trip to South Wales into The Brecon Beacons, staying at Defynnog.
July - 2 Weeks in Germany, did "The Dambusters " thing, Harz Mountains, The Romantic Road from Rothenburg ODT to Fussen, most if not all of The B500 & back via The Mosel Valley.
August - 2 Weeks to Norway, riding through Germany, Denmark & Sweden, it was good meeting up with STeinar.
September - 2 Day trip to The Scottish Boarders, staying at Selkirk.
Covered a total of around 7,000 miles.

Re: Where did you get to in 2015
Those sound like a fun selection of trips. I have only managed two trips away this year due family commitments. One to Sedan France a 4 day trip and another 4 day trip to Cornwall. Have done plenty of local riding, probably my best year to date clocking up around 20K miles between the RT and ST. Hoping for a good Winter down here in the South so should get plenty more riding in. However they are forecasting a cold Winter so maybe we will get some of your Northern weather.

A very pleasant Euro tour with the wife in July:-
Calais (via the tunnel) to Lille in France, then onto Trier, then onto Seebach in the Black Forest (including whizzing up and down the B500), then South to Konstanz on the Swiss border, onto Como in Italy, back into France via Mont Blanc tunnel. Via Bourges-en-Bresse, Troyes (delightful town), Compiegne N of Paris and back to Blighty via the Euro Tunnel. Fantastic time and great weather throughout!

Quiet year for me. 10 days to Austria in May about 2500 miles and a Scottish tour this month of 1500 miles. Probably another 1000 on day trips. ALL ON DRY ROADS. Next time its good and wet I must get out for some practice.
