I bought it, I bought it!!!!

Post by Sullivj »

Hi guys.

I've been riding for a while. I have a CBF 600, CB500 and a 1957 Ambassador Supreme.

I've loved the look of the RT for a while, and after a lot of virtual shopping, I think I've found the one I want... Ideally, I would have liked audio, but you can't have everything I suppose!

The bike is a million miles away from me (almost!). Can you tell from the pics what extras (if any) may have been included?

I plan to inspect it at the weekend, so is there anything particular I should look for?

Thanks in advance.

John

Header pipes don't look chromed to me which was a factory option, and the end can looks aftermarket. Except for that nothing.

This is my 2012 (SE),  which has a chrome exhaust system as standard, in both photos, they look the same.

If it's got white indicator lenses with orange bulbs, that would also suggest it's an SE.

Thanks for your comments and advice guys. I did 422 miles in the car today, so I could have a good look and put down a deposit.

She needs a good clean, but I'm looking forward to bringing her home at the weekend. She's done just 3,900 miles, with full BMW history.

Looking forward to getting to know you, and doing a few miles on her.

Thanks again.

The bike also has ASC, could be an OE or part of a Dynamic pack inc. TPC.

Nice looking bike.  Despite my well-known anti blue prejudice, I really like that colour...

Well done. I know your feeling well. I bought the same bike in March and have done a few tours. Off to Spain in September. You've made a great choice. I love the machine. Enjoy.
