They are available from KFM for £85.81, http://www.kfm-motorraeder.de/cms/en/ge ... 1607719449

Check with your local BMW dealer & ask for some discount, usually 10% on parts.

I will - thanks.

I was considering bars, but I think they're a bit 'heavy' looking.

You are an impressive detailer. If you run out of projects give me a pm and we can swop bikes. ;-)

Thanks David. I spoke to BMW who wanted £96, but I won a new set on eBay this evening for £58.

Just think of all the places you could have gone and things you could have seen with the time you've been laying on your back buffing away!  The only thing I buff away at is my saxophone! haha

If I bring mine round, will you have a go at that too?

I spend so much time riding it, it gets quite dirty!

I couldn't leave the house anyway, as I was babysitting our little ones.

After some quality garage time today, have achieved similar results to those below.

Autosol & a toothbrush worked well for stubborn areas, followed by microfibre cloths & elbow grease.

The toothbrush & Autosol seemed to do the trick.

Thanks I'll give that a try. I was worried that it may have been painted, but now I don't think it is, so autosol should be fine.

Yours is looking good.
