OEM Dealer Install Fog Lights on 2014 R1200RT

Hello folks. I'am a newbe on this forum. A transferee from the K1600GTL forum.

I just picked up my bike from the local BMW dealer and was disappointed to discover there is NO indicator on the dash to let me know if the fog lights are on or off.
Has anyone had these installed on their bike? if so do you have an indicator letting you know if they are on? My GTL had a little icon displayed when I turned them on.
The Dealer had to initialize the CAN bus after they wired them up. I would have thought the CAN bus initialization would have taken care of the display.
Any thoughts?

There should be an indicator in the same place as the K1600.

If we are talking about LED aux lights, then I have them on my 2014 and there is a light on the dash that tells me they are on.

Were they factory installed or were they installed after you bought the bike?

Haven't a clue, I bought my bike used.

They are always fitted by dealers, not like the 1600s .
