Rear brake light failure
Hi, recently, one bulb of the brake/tail light went out. I replaced the light and the system worked properly for one day. The next day the brake light warning light on the dash came back on and the rear brake/tail lights have failed completely. I can't find any information on a fuse for the system. Any ideas how to proceed before taking to the dealer? Thanks for you help.
Re: Rear brake light failure
It's always helpful to mention the bike model and year
There are no fuses but the Canbus (computer controlled circuits) if there is a fault that draws too much power the Canbus shuts the circuit down and when you switch off and back on it attempts to power the circuit again, if the fault persists then it will retry every time bike is switched off and back on

Re: Rear brake light failure
well, I checked the socket of each bulb. One seemed to have a little bit of corrosion so I scraped as much off as I could and the lights are working now. Thanks again for your help.
