Newbie saying hello

Post by Duggie »

Hi everyone, signed up to the forum today and slowly finding my way around the site.
I'm a week in of owning a 2010 rt, this is my first BM motorbike, early days but so far I'm enjoying the experience, I think !
The bike is going in for a service at coopers of Tunbridge on weds, I'm going to ask them to check out a smell of burning oil whilst it's there, there are no obvious signs of oil but have a definite smell of oil after a long ride, Sod's law that I didn't notice it when buying the bike ! Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious or expensive.
The bike has only covered 7500 miles with full Bmw history.

I hope so too, I'm thinking of taking out a warranty for piece of mind.

I'm located in Ashford Kent, so, if there are any fellow bike nuts nearby that fancy meeting up, or a ride out then l'd be pleased to hear from you.

Hi Duggie - welcome to the forum.

I'm close to Gatwick airport, so fairly close to you. There's a thread running about a possible southern meet up, so keep an eye on that.

Remember the extended warranty has am initial period where claims can't be made.
