Rukka ArmaS

Post by elephant8869 »

Been speaking to Tranam today, the UK importer of Rukka gear and they confirmed that Rukka will no longer make the ArmaS suit for 2017 onwards and there is no longer a fully CE rated suit which conforms to the PPE requirement for professional riders. I know the ArmaS is not perfect but it's the only off the shelf gortex kit that I know of that is PPE compliant. Only other option is the Hideout bespoke gortex suit.  Rukka's new 2017 range is not CE rated for the whole suit, only the protection inserts. Great shame in my view!

Agree great shame. I have ridden with one for the past 5 years and it still looks like new. The suit must have done about 60K miles. The Gore rubber zip split and was replaced by Goretex repair centre in Austria for free. Lifetime guarantee on zip. Got the jacket back in under 3 weeks. Now thats what I call service.
