For 8 plus hour days in the saddle I wear lycra cycling shorts under my riding pants. No monkey butt.

DON'T carry anything in your back pockets while riding.  I found that having my wallet or anything else in my back pockets made a big difference how long I could stay on the saddle.

There are plenty of leather riding jeans that have back pockets. Not BMW obviously so probably not suitable  8)

You never know what you might find if you dig deep enough in the kit cupboard. And they are waterproof leather.

Guess what Ive got the matching jacket as well, and no.  Answered on a fag packet where you have seen that lining pattern before.  They are good kit though but very heavy .  Think they are vintage mid 90s
