Xmas dinner .... Turkey?

Post by stayingupright »

Already having our yearly debate on what meat to have for Christmas dinner.

I suspect the old turkey will get the heave ho this year in favour of a pork or beef joint. May even splash out on both!

So long as there is Xmas pudding and custard I really don't care.

Would be interested in what other people have though ...

Goose? Swan? Hedgehog?

I was born with nothing and unfortunately I still have most of it left.

Usually  have a joint for Christmas. Always thought that Turkey is highly over rated.  Though have had a cockeral & must say that they are very tasty.
Melton Mowbray pork pie & Stilton for Christmas morning is a must :)
Vini, Vidi, Velcro....... I came, I saw, I stuck around.

It all depends on what the local pub is offering at £10 for 2.

It would seem from all the responses they don't do this over the pond.
