S-vol settings

Got any questions about the BMW's R1200RT/R1250RT's onboard audio, Bluetooth or the Electrical system?

S-vol settings

Post by circlehappenork »

Does anyone know what settings are used to define levels of S-vol and if it's possible to change them? Ie speeds for each level.
Because I believe that since my last service the volume does not increase with increased speed. At the dealership I've been told that everything is fine with my speakers, however I'm starting to be more suspicious about some of the people that work there.

Look in your Menu booklet, back page under Settings.  Looks like on or off and Set Level. I never bothered with it as it's just a twitch of the thumb to adjust the volume.

I know that much. My question was about specific settings. There are 3 levels of that. Can one change at what speed how much the volume will increase? For example:
Level 1 - 30 mph
Level 2 - 50 mph
Level 3 - 70 mph?

Me thinks not.  If you could it would be in the settings.

Allow me to comment unhelpfully that if one uses in-ear monitors, there is almost never a need to adjust volume -speed dependent or otherwise.
