Wow.  £40 more than I paid for my Pyramid.  They are both bits of moulded plastic.

I lose count of the number of times I have burned my time trying to fit some piece of cheap crap which then has to be sent back (assuming it hasn't self-destructed in the process). I'm at that point in my life where time is more important than money so I tend to avoid stuff which is at the cheap end (despite the possibility that it might be perfectly good) in favour of something that I know will just work. I like Nippy Normans primarily because I know that what I buy will do the job it was ordered for and I accept that I am paying a premium for that certainty.

Actually I don't think it too expensive. I bought one about two years ago now. Its very well engineered. Its a quality product unlike the cheap piece of crap I put on my Pan. The plastic moulding of the Avant is first class. However whats really impressive is how it fits onto the bike. No drilling of holes, double sided sticky tape or rivets. The fixing is brilliant because it is quick to fix and totally removable when you want too. It also looks good on the bike. Matches the OEM front mudguard. It also actually works.
