Personalised Number Plates

Post by David. »

Come on then, what have you got & why.

I've got RT53 *** because it's an RT SE.

The XJ650 has *** 650W on it, the Yamaha dealers kept it for that bike.

Bought PIG VFR for a Honda VFR, it made me laugh.

My uncle had a really cool number plate FAB **, bought with a new car in 1965. Two people had ordered theirs before him, otherwise he would have had number 1.

The plate has remained in the family, my cousin's daughter now has it on her car.

It wasn't my plate, but I saw mark 1 GSX-R750 with the plate 'A750 GSX' a few times.  It doesn't get more to the point!

When it comes to Reg plates there's us and then there's those over the pond.  Is there a large price to pay for your own plate.

I have a Ducati Diavel with "65 mph".  I'm from the UK, but live in Kentucky.  Plate cost $35!!

I love it that lots of yanks don't understand irony.  My neighbour was totally puzzled by my plate and said "surely that goes quicker than 65?"  LOL!

I have  **** BMW on my 2015 LC, but the first owner took the hit for the plate for £500- so the selling dealer told me.
