Re: Just Retired
Looks like I,m the odd one out here as I really enjoyed my job especially the last 15 years or so and I,m not a big fan of retirement. Been trying hard to get the hang of it for about 8 years now. Really miss the cut and thrust of work life, doing a good job, being appreciated for it and of course "The Craic".
Looking forward to Spring and some nice warm weather, planning this years bike trips etc.

Today is the first official day of my early retirement.
From now on there is an open road with an endless time limit. :music:

Yes looking forward to that, on duty tonight and tomorrow night with the blood bikes, be ok tonight but tomorrow might have to be a car as I have to resupply the Air Ambulance 8) Had a very good ride this afternoon delivering some baby milk to Salisbury District Hospital .
Re: Just Retired
9 months after taking early retirement-a case of take pension then or frozen for 8 more years, so a no brainer. I still feel like I am on holiday and going back to work soon and still wake up at the crack of dawn. Unlearning 42 years of full time work is hard but ReTiring any good weather day is great!

Re: Just Retired
I've seen some bikes with the text, "Riding the Kids Inheritance" on the number plate.
