You don't say what model you have.  On a pre 2010 they are ASA M6

On a 2005 model, an M6 bolt has a T30 Torx head.

I need to replace mine. How much dismantling is involved to get to it?
I have laid down with my head by the back wheel looking up and can't see how to get to it.
Any advice?
