It doesn't really matter what the engine colour is, it's still a maroon bike that reminds me of two things:

1.  My Dad's 1963 Austin Cambridge
2.  A Honda Deauville

The RT can look fabulous in the right colour scheme and with (or in some cases without) a few accessories.  Why would anybody in their right mind make it look so last century???

Good news is they didn't make many of them.  Think it was a way of clearing out old stock and selling some extra wheely bins for the back rack.
