I have just read that if you are going to any of the following towns in France you will need an Air Quality Certificate www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ The cost is €4.18
Paris, Lyon, Grenoble, Strasbourg.

Re: Air Quality Certificate - France
The French love their useless bureaucracy, surely all our machine have a Euro emission standard, which gives them that info.
Re: Air Quality Certificate - France
I've ridden through Paris a number of times. This is just the ticket to make sure I'm not tempted to do it again.

Yes, that's correct, with more cities in and out of France bound to follow in their wake, in the fullness of time. I applied for three recently via the CritAir site, one for the car and one each for my wife's bike and mine. The pdf copy of the certificate was emailed to me after approx two weeks, and I'm currently awaiting the windscreen sticker! Yes, more crazy bureaucracy, but straightforward to apply for without breaking the bank!jjwill wrote: I have just read that if you are going to any of the following towns in France you will need an Air Quality Certificate www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ The cost is €4.18

It's French, it won't last that long.
Re: Air Quality Certificate - France
Not sure on that one Casbar. My CritAir sticker arrived in the post this morning, and it doesn't have any valid from/to markings on it at all! ???
