Seat movement
Now here's an odd one.... Tinkering about with the bike (2016 LC) over the weekend, I whipped both seats off. Putting them back, the rear seat seems to move about a little (maybe 20mm side to side). Of course it could have been like this all along, but I don't think so. There's no obvious reason, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this?
Re: Seat movement
Take it off again to ensure it's seated correctly at the back. It can be a bit fiddly

Re: Seat movement
The rear seat can be a pita to get seated correctly. If it moves, its not right. You kind of have to slide it down at the rear as you line up the front two screws.

Re: Seat movement
Thanks for the post guys - I thought it was just me who had a wobbly seat after tinkering. I'll persevere too . . . .

Re: Seat movement
Well, no luck so far, despite perseverance. However, as soon as I sit on the front seat, the whole lot tightens up. Otherwise there's an annoying 10mm or so side to side at the back when not on the bike. I can't see how to do anything different......
Re: Seat movement
Try taking out the securing bolts then sliding the back in. Once its all the way in you should feel no sideways movement if you keep some rearward pressure on the seat. Then replace the two bolts. Failing that take a trip to your dealer and tell them it's broken.
