Flashing warning lights at startup

Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum and also a first time owner of a 2010 1200RT I picked up a few days ago.

When I start the engine a flashing yellow ABS alert indicator and a flashing red alert indicator comes on. They turn off once I start riding. I suspect this may be normal but I'm not sure about the red flashing indicator so wanted to check with you experienced folks.

Not that experienced but I recently picked up my 2013 from a dealer - the warnings lights at startup are normal - dealer said it's going through a systems check.


Once you take off, they should quit.


Did you get an owner's manual?
