Agreed, but have managed to change things around (that translates as consulted with the Commander in Chief). Another sacrifice for the good of the Section.David. wrote: If we both can't make the same date, I'm sure one will manage without the other.

Re: Alternative 'Northern Monkeys' June Meet 2017
Great day with the northern Monkeys division, great roads, great company, great weather on new roads and met new fellow bikers.
Thanks for planning the route David and Chris and the effort you guy's put in.
Mileage couldn't of been closer if we tried, 251 miles and returned 52.5 MPG average.
The day was only let down by a menace on a plugged tyre, top box hanging on by pure luck more than anything and only happy when he was murdering the wild life........ ha

Mileage for me was 245 and 58.8 mpg on the BC. The appropriate emoji involving 2 digits is not available on this site. ;D ;Dmichaelc2710 wrote:

Re: Alternative 'Northern Monkeys' June Meet 2017
Great time yet again chaps! Thanks to everyone who attended or contributed to the meet 8) We even got a spot of rain entering the shithole more commonly known as Greater Manchester, It was more a 'welcome back to reality' and don't be gone too long again Here, have some pics of the motley crew and their steeds, Oh, and a derelict church as well.
The 'Hog' chapter was in attendance
Oops! this was in France last week
It's exactly 12 Months and 7k (without issue) since I got my RT now I'm thinking I might need to upgrade to 'Black Pudding' brake pads at this rate ??? Will I need new discs every fortnight with such a hard pad do you think? :-\
Ride safe everyone! It's all good fun with a healthy dose of 'talking bollocks' that makes life worth living! we're a long time dead unfortunately and even more time waiting in BMW dealership receptions waiting for decisions apparently lol

The church might have been derelict, but the bride (to be) certainly wasn't, I'm surprised no one has mentioned that treat.simbo wrote:Oh, and a derelict church as well.

Re: Alternative 'Northern Monkeys' June Meet 2017
Calling our resident 'pap' (as in paparazzi) and not floppy tit I hasten to add.
The first photo looks like a cast promotion shot for the latest 'Hammer House of Horrors' production with one noteable exception.
Is the last photo Honfleur?
Have to agree with David on the bride.
Thanks for taking the trouble.

Best play safe and get some made up at the cheese shop while we're in Hawes next trip.simbo wrote:
