OK, been here a week, so time for the full forum membership to give me their wonderful insight and knowledge!
Noticed that the tyre pressures were at full luggage and 2 up settings. So lowered tyre pressure to 2.2 & 2.5, however, it still feels like its skipping laterally in the lane when above 40 MPH. There is a new tyre on the back, but straight-line scrubbed when picked the bike up.
Also, as a newbie, not sure about all the quirks with R1200rt's, I'm finding a jerk in power at around 3k. Is this normal, makes city riding a bit uncomfortable. Saw something on a website which could cure the low rev jerkiness.
In anticipation of a reply..... Thank you very much.

Re: Skipping
The correct pressure settings are 2.2 and 2.5. I have never heard of any higher ones .
What model have you got and what make is the new rear tyre.

Re: Skipping
I have a power blip around 4,000 revs that I've not been able to cure yet.
I recently fitted a new battery, and that didn't resolve it.
I've been told the it may be the throttle position switch, so that will probably be the next thing to change.

Re: Skipping
When are you going to tell us what bike you have. Failing that what year is it.
