Paint repairs

Post by Pete1200 »

Well I have to own up to being a little bit clumsy and twice my bike has been laid down at a standstill on gravel, leaving the rocker box cover looking somewhat scarred. Fortunately there is a guy living in the village who could do something about that. The left hand pannier had had an argument with a hedge, I think, and wasn't looking too happy either.
Jim came round to have a look and declared that both jobs were doable. Hopefully I have attached some pics to show you.
If you think he may be able to help here's his link. https://paintboxmobile.com/
Jim covers the area of Kent East of Maidstone but is open to the idea of mail order work too.
Hopefully I have posted some pics. I'm well pleased.

Good work.

For people in the north, I can suggest www.farroutpaintwork.co.uk who are based in Congleton. They resprayed the bellypan on my BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Replica and made a nice job of it.
So when is this “old enough to know better” supposed to kick in?

A set of machine art moto, valve cover protectors will go along way towards keeping covers scratch free
