The MV was traded in for the RT. So far no buyer's remorse. Actually, I haven't been so excited about a bike (the RT) in a quite a long time!

I currently have a 1974 BMW R90S I bought in late 1974, a 2010 BMW K1300S bought new, and the 2015 waterboxer also bought new.  Love all three, but ride the RT the most.

Just added one of these to the fleet:

Talk about the polar opposite to the RT.... It's so light, you could blow it over, it runs on fumes, and beats most things off the lights - just twist and go, all the way to 65mph if you're feeling brave!

TBH, I wasn't looking for one, but it came up at a price that I couldn't resist. The previous owner purchased it new and did just 49 miles in 2 years!

I don't think it's a keeper, but it's fun for the time being.

I have a '15 RNineT.  I enjoy having the contrast in bikes, using the RT for 2 up riding more so and the RNineT to take when I have the extra hour or two in my schedule.

I have a Ducati 748 biposto in the garage next to my '17 RT SE. They couldn't be further apart to ride but I love them both equally.

Just back from dealer after getting my R9t sport it's first service. Decided to change my 2009 K1300s to a 2015 RT after an hours test ride. R9t is a great bike for fun and it's Def something different for those that like something retro ish but don't like to spanners too much though it's Def an addiction adding bits to it here and there. Looking forward to picking up the RT next week. The K1300 has taken me to Europe a few times and has been great (though a possible licence looser) but after that one run today my mind was made up. Will always keep the R9t though as it's nice to sit with a glass of something cold and just look at but beauty is in the eye of the beerholder!

We are now a two bike family, although the second one isn't officially mine (I just paid for it is all). My son has just passed his CBT (compulsory basic training for those outside of the UK) and we picked this up on Monday. I got to ride it home and it was a blast - despite not being able to do more than 40 mph due to running in. I can honestly say it is about as far from the RT as you can get.
