Changing to K&N air filter?

Post by Zapata »

Hello Team:

Is really worth it to install the K&N air filter? (higher air flow). In my other bikes I always do that in conjunction with an open slip-on and FI controller (stage 1). Not sure if the RT needs to go stage 1 because I feel it already pulls very fast.

Also, can I replace the air filter with just removing the fairing in the right side?

Thank you very much.

Yes, on a TC, the air filter is easily accessible by removing the RHS panels.

Plenty of evidence to show you'd be wasting your money for no benefit.

Thank you very much.
