I lost one last year. I didn't notice any vibration, with or without both on.
Was gonna buy one, but hey, not cheap at all, so made up a pair out of SS.
I don't see how that weight would reduce vibration, if you have it!

Are yes there they are, I thought the number would search all of ebay (silly me thinking technology works), they look massive in picture three and luckily I don't have an issue with bar vibration on my rt unlike my previous Blackbird so I think I will give them a miss, Thanks for the link ds99 :kacsint2:

Maybe the question to ask is why the bars are vibrating at all. I don't feel any on my '16 model. Is it engine or road wheel rotation frequency? The first may indicate throttle bodies need some adjustment maybe, the second tyre or brake disc issues. Just a thought....

I had some vibration or buzzing from the right grip, fitted grip puppies which helped, then after about 4k it went away, so my assumption is, the engine loosened up. That is a non technical assumption of course.

I also noticed a slight tingling in the handlebars which improved as time went on. It has done 6000 miles now and is not noticeable now.

For the good of the order, I own a 2015  r1200 RT and also had some bar vibration (not severe, but enough to fatigue my hands after an hour or so of highway riding).  I ended up buying the aftermarket bar end weights made by the USA company: HVMP.  Truthfully, I was somewhat skeptical that these would make a significant difference, but I tried them nonetheless.  Great results !  They do in fact work.  Apparently, the additional weight not only dampens the vibration, but the additional mass seems to change the frequency at which the bars vibrate.  In any event, they are of flawless quality, and IMHO, well worth the price.  I highly recommend them.  In addition, the owner of the company, when I emailed him, was a class act.  He not only emailed me back immediately, but also followed up to make sure the installment went without a hitch.  Longer stainless screws are supplied, and the installation took about 10 minutes.  A great, quality product.  Here is a link:
