What did you do today?
What did you do? Anything of interest? Something you'd like to share?? Please feel free to post it here
Me?.. Well, Me n the good lady met up with a fellow RT rider for a bit of a bimble
We was supposed to meet up with a fellow H-D/Pan rider, but 'man flu' got the better of him (tart) So we headed in the direction of 'Bowker H-D' in Preston for breakfast where I was hoping to convert the fellow 'RT' rider over the the dark side? It wasn't to be, This man even drives a stolen BMW in his spare time So we ate breakfast and had a brief browse around the overpriced undertechnology'd H-D's (is that a word?) Before retiring to our flasks for a free coffee in the car park and onwards to our next brew stop All in all, A good day out with a fellow motorcyclist (of a similar mind set, The usual 'NM mindset') On the + side, I managed to slip back in the H-D shop to purchase a Helmet pot for finer days out on the Dark Sided H-D

Had a visit from a couple who own a 2014 RT LE. Took them both out for a quick spin on the Can Am. They are off to buy one this week. The cloud from the dark side is creeping in.

Re: What did you do today?
You'll never convert me to the dark side of a HD (nice breakfast there though) beside's most of the HD customers had turned up in there car's fully kitted out in HD biking leathers.....what's all that about.
You didn't show me your ladies gloves when you purchased your piss pot.
You did convert me into bringing a flask of coffee, so well done on that.
All in all another good day out with 'Sim's scenic Tours' but if you tell everyone about my stolen BMW i'll have to burn it and nick something else.

Went shopping for kitchen tiles in the car, not on the bike. 'Living the Dream'. ??? Did think about the bike mid morning but committed to tiles by then.

Re: What did you do today?
Weather wasn't the best But we went out for a bimble round the Trough of Bowland, which included a Breakfast in Waddington.
A brew from the flasks at Dunsop Bridge. (tea rooms was shut)
A re-fuel (charge for the old man) near Lancaster.
Then a brew at Devils Bridge.
Only 140 miles today, But a thoroughly enjoyable day! Bikes dirty now though!

Re: What did you do today?
165 miles for me (according to bike but nearer 150 I suspect) around Rutland and Leicestershire including part of the Melton TT and lots of other white roads with no traffic. No piccys I'm afraid as only stopped once and that was at Gonerby Moor services on the A1. Didn't see many other bikes at all despite it being a fairly good day down here although a bit chilly laterly.
