Always fancied a 1400GTR like your mate's, especially in that dark metallic green colour. Weighing in at over 300kgs, unfortunately always a tad heavy for me. I went for the FJR1300s at the time, being around 40kgs lighter and then graduated to the RT being again about 40kgs lighter than the FJR. That's a lot of extra weight to push around the yard!simbo wrote: Weather wasn't the best But we went out for a bimble round the Trough of Bowland, which included a Breakfast in Waddington.

Re: What did you do today?
The 'Big Un' and myself met up with up Michael, JB n Debs for a bimble up to the Dalesway cafe where we met up with Mick for us all to participate in a Bulk Tipper breakfast
Then we heading off in the direction of Masham (lead by the born leader Michael) for plenty of coffee and giggles.
Re: What did you do today?
On the way back we stopped somewhere we've passed many a time but never called in. (I don't even know what it's called?) There was canal boats, Bentley's and friendly dogs.

Hope you all enjoyed your day

Re: What did you do today?
Went on a big ride out of about 30 bikes today. Only about 35 miles to a pub.
It was possibly too many to go in one group but it was fun seeing cars and people giving us a lot more room than normal.
It worked ok but we managed to split the group a couple of times at traffic lights etc.
Quite a few bikes shied off because of the cold as well

I was born with nothing and unfortunately I still have most of it left.

Re: What did you do today?
I came to work in the car due to the 'Beast from the East' weather we are having here, just too wimpish to try riding across the sheet ice on the estate roads.
So having RT withdrawal issues

Re: What did you do today?
A pleasure as always to be out and about in good company. Interesting to see the amount of snow still hanging around in places but totally different down in the White Peak around Dovedale.
