Thanks Temesvar! im sure i will have questions in no time!

Simbo -  how do you like yours? anything i should look for? i've got 49k on the clock and all scheduled maintenance has been completed, however i like to be proactive rather than reactive. So anything you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings, and welcome to the forum.  I'm just south of you in Portland, currently riding 2016 RT.  You will be very happy with the bike, and this forum.  I belong to several BMW forums, but when I really need technical help, this is the one I go to.

Welcome on board - certainly in the right place for advice, I have a 16 plate one and never missed a beat and has thoroughly looked after me and saved me a couple of times due to some stupid mistakes by me!!
