are they any good, I had some gel inserts put in mine which made a nice difference, just wondering if this would be a step up from that?

I loved my comfort seat on my previous RT, wish they'd make one for the water cooled

Other than the back pad type thing that stops you sliding backwards in the seat and slightly lower height, I wouldn't say so. Buy some cycling shorts with the padding for £15, It'd be money better spent.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)
