Go for the 17 plate, you wont regret it, honestly they are amazing

Went to Manchester today to look  at the 2016 RT I fancied unfortunately no deal they gave crap px and even scoffed at my offer so I shall keep looking just feel deflated as it’s a mint bike and what I am wanting  :grave: .... Ah well plenty more RT’s in the sea I suppose

Drop Alan Jefferies a line (Shipley) they went above and beyond for me when Chester Motorrad and Williams in Manchester not really interested.

Daverj it was Williams of Manchester I went to, I’ve looked at Jeffries both at Shipley and Rotherham and they are asking moremoney for higher miles and older bikes....
I’ll wait and make it worth having a crap PX after a trip to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Dolomites be

Well I’ve gone and done it I pick up a 2016 RT LE on 28th July I put a cheeky offer in again at Williams Manchester and I nearly fell over that they accepted it be..... So now I’ve to get my bike to standard for the PX and try and contain my excitement  :enjoying:

Nice one, glad you got sorted. I had a 2015 LE ,loved it. What colour are you getting?

Daverj it’s the bronze colour which I think is very nice (not to everyone’s taste) and the fact it’s not got the grey at the front like the new ones....
Saw it the other week and it’s not got a mark on it so I’m well giddy now for 28th be

Sounds like the same colour as mine - ebony?  It's been called black / brown / purple so far.  As I'm colour blind I don't care.


One things is for sure though:  It is the fastest colour.

My RT is Dec 2016 and is the 2017 model. Colour is officially described as Metallic Platinum Bronze. I have just had a top box colour coded to match the bike and panniers and the BMW colour code is N97.
