EVENING ALL
Rode boxer twins for many years, last one a '16 GSA which I didn't really get on with.
Tested another GSA earlier this month, still not happy, 'till I rode an RT, so here I am.
Glad to have found this site, enjoying browsing already and hope to contribute in a friendly and positive way.
So Hello to all at 1200RT.com, where's the bar?

Re: EVENING ALL
Sorry not got back quicker, was stuck in the bar upstairs, thanks Bob ^-^
Grateful for the welcome from all and Hiya Sprintgull (another pseudonym eh?) hope you're also enjoying this years RBR, looks like I've got the right bike now for completing an all rounder this year then? :beee:
But I'm not that mad
Taking my RT for its first service tomorrow, just fitted a Wunderlich tinted marathon screen and an avant front guard. Supposed to be quality items, but not impressed with the instructions or fit of the screen. Will know more tomorrow if I made the right choice screen wise.
And am not the only recent convert either eh?
Be interesting as to why others fled besides me.
Cheers.

Re: EVENING ALL
I was lucky and found a Werks Quiet Ride on eBay that was in perfect nick. Makes a big difference, although for this weather it is maybe too effective. Re. your comments on Wunderlich I've been a little disappointed with the last couple of items I bought from them. Their cockpit bag is great but came with the wrong bolts. Their horn wiring kit was really good but was a bit tight for length on some of the wires and the canbus plug fell apart. Bought plenty of good stuff from the too though.
Re: EVENING ALL
I too have switched to an RT from a GSA. My main issue was becoming the combination of height and weight. I did find the RT a bit cramped but has been helped by lowered pegs and bar risers. I also dropped on a Wunderlich screen and found it works for me. Just waiting on my Sargent seat, which will probably arrive just after I go on holiday.
Loving the bike though.
