Shrewsbury might suit both the "Northern Monkeys" and "Southern Softies".

Re: 2019 Annual RT Meet
With Simbo's assistance, I'd like to suggest that the 2019 Annual Meet takes place on the first weekend in July, that being 5th, 6th & 7th.
The day ride out would be on Saturday 6th July 2019.
Accommodation would be at the Travelodge Shrewsbury Battlefield, https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/289 ... ield-hotel there is a pub/restaurant next door.
(With Travelodge, payment has to be made upfront, but a full refund can be obtained if for any reason you have to cancel.)
The Bikers' Britain book has been used to create a ride out based around the Ludlow North & South routes.
The route has four sections with breaks, at Ludlow, Bransford & Ludlow. (It's a "figure of eight" route.)
Section 1, Shrewsbury to Ludlow, 53.6 miles in 1 hour 17 mins.
Section 2, Ludlow to Bransford, 48.4 miles in 1 hour 16 mins.
Section 3, Bransford to Ludlow, 50.5 miles in 1 hour 15 mins.
Section 4, Ludlow to Shrewsbury, 44.7 miles in 1 hour 11 mins.
A total of just less than 200 miles in a riding time of 5 hours. Allowing up to 1 hour for each break, that's an 8 hour day.
Perhaps an earlier start of 09:30 might be more appropriate.

Re: 2019 Annual RT Meet
I would like to invite a non-RT owner to join this event, is this acceptable to all others who will be attending.

How about an RT owner from Scotland ?
If my family holiday doesn't clash I'd like to come down and meet some more forum members. :-*
If there are no objections, I'll get in touch with David for details of routes etc..
