So as the title says, I find the screen of the Nav 5 useless in sunlight, I had used the Nav on my 1200RS without issue but its rubbish on the RT. Is there a way of adjusting the angle? I see that the dash is adjustable? Or is it DIY job with some washers behind the mounting plate??
Oh and one other question, is the 6 really that much better? I know they say the screen is better.

The whole dash is tiltable by pushing, gently!!, on the top / bottom of dash in the centre. Moves about half inch.
Vini, Vidi, Velcro....... I came, I saw, I stuck around.
Re: Anyway to adjust angle of Nav
I bought a Nav VI a few weeks ago and sold my V. The screen is a massive improvement and I have no issues with glare anymore, half the time I couldn't see the Nav V in the sun, but the six is visible.

Instrument cluster is adjustable not the nav cradle
I have a 5 which is better than the 4 but not as good as the 6!!
I use a anti glare screen from amazon and a sunshade from wunderlich which helps but certainly leaves room for improvement
