Oxford Heated vest controller (HV727)

Post by Sprintgull »

Evening All,
Bit of an issue (slightly off topic): I've got an Oxford/Keis heated vest.  Well I say heated..... not any more.
Last week the cable containing the controller snapped at the plug.  Anyone else had this problem and found a solution to this as there do not seem to be any available anywhere.
Cheers.

Don't quite understand the issue maybe a pic would help. If its an Oxford vest made by Keis could you use a Keis controller. I use a Keis vest and its the best bit of winter kit I have so I can understand you want to get yours working again. Post a pic.

That controller is identical to the one used on the Ventureheat MC10 Heated Vest available on Amazon.

I have a Ventureheat vest (not that model) which mates perfectly into a Gerbing plug. Make sure that whatever controller you buy is matched to the power draw of the vest.

Good luck,

The Keis Light Weight Controller looks very similar to the Oxford one, https://www.keisapparel.co.uk/product/k ... ontroller/

Keis do adaptor cables, https://www.keisapparel.co.uk/product-c ... es/page/3/, looks like there could be marginal plug/socket size differences between Keis and other makes.

Thanks for the guidance guys.

I was being a bit thick and of course the alternate brand is Inox not Keis!  M and P are sold out as are a few others I tried, but I think I've found one.  The Ventureheat unit looks really similar though, will bear that in mind if I get let down again.

Thanks again
Kevin
