#4 Fuses

Image

This photo is for a GS, likely to be the same for an RT. Ignore the additional "Fuzeblock" being fitted, at 1:08, the video shows the fuse box being removed,

What! How do you run your heated clothing / tyre compressor / Battery charger / Bike powered flashlight....etc, etc

Heated clothing?? in Australia :)

Im using an sae plug between top box and usb cable. That way I can plug other things in if needed from the under the seat plug. Runs directly to the battery.

no??? value...My point was more about newer connection needs in secured/weatherproof positions.

I had a pigtail with a fuse lower than 25watts and everytime I hook up the portable air compressor it would blow the fuse.

I actually threw away one compressor thinking it was broke; A mech in Dallas while on the road schooled me on that them pigtails usually have smaller fuses that can only handle trickle charging the batt, but if you hook a carry-on compressor it needed a higher capacity fuse
If it takes you all day to do something you used to do all day, you are getting old.
